We warmly invite members and guests to a presentation of The Effulgence Foundation film, “The Dr. John Tutt Story,” on Sunday February 26 at 2:00 p.m., at the Oasis Senior Center, 801 Narcissus Avenue, Corona del Mar. The event is sponsored by First and Second Churches of Christ, Scientist, Newport Beach.
Dr. Tutt was a medical doctor who, through a healing experience, turned wholeheartedly to Christian Science, and became a well-known lecturer in the 20th Century. The event will include an introduction by film director Darrel Dorr, a screening of the film, and a question and answer session, followed by refreshments. All who are interested in the history of the Christian Science movement are invited.
This film is the first in a series. If there is a good response to this showing, we would invite other Christian Science churches in Southern California to join us in sponsoring the screening of more films in coming months.
