Twelfth Church of Christ, Scientist of Los Angeles enjoyed 81 wonderful years in their beautiful Church and Sunday School buildings in Van Nuys. The property is now owned by a Seventh Day Adventist congregation, and they are very appreciative to have such a large and useful property for their use. They have services in Spanish, and they are enjoying their new home in the Van Nuys community.

The members of Twelfth Church have decided to discontinue having Wednesday meetings and Sunday services, and are encouraging guests to attend one of the other Christian Science churches in the San Fernando Valley. Local churches include Northridge, Studio City and Woodland Hills. Also, Glendale is not so far away. 

Our members have enjoyed a multi-year reading project, and we expect to continue with periodic get-togethers to continue studying the Bible together. Over the years, we have read together Science and Health, all of Prose Works, all of the Bible, and a biography of Mary Baker Eddy. Our group study was very rewarding, and we will find a time and place to continue.
