Sunday Services

On Sundays every branch Christian Science church has the same sermon read by two elected members. One  reads from the Bible and the other reads from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, which gives spiritual meaning to Bible verses. Twenty-six titles, each revisited twice a year, throw new light on subjects which include God, Sacrament, Life, Truth, Love, Substance, Christ Jesus, among others through fresh choices of Biblical illustrations, inspirations, guidance, and spiritual laws as stated by prophets, Christ Jesus and apostles. The service also includes prayer, three hymns, a vocal solo, a collection and inspiring musical selections on the organ. Child care at all services

Wednesday Testimony Meetings

This service includes selections read from the Bible and correlative passages from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures on a topic chosen by the reader. Then, the congregation has an opportunity to tell of experiences of healing and inspiration gained through their study of Christian Science and prayer. There is no collection at this meeting.
 

Thanksgiving

Each Thanksgiving Day from 10 a.m.- 11 a.m. the church holds a service with the President’s Proclamation of Thanksgiving Day and appropriate selections from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures on the subject of Thanksgiving. The twenty minute sermon is followed by individual words of gratitude from the members of the congregation. There is no collection at this service.
 

Sunday School is at the same time as our Sunday Church Service.
